Dorothy graduated from the College of Medicine University of Nigeria Nsukka. Driven by a passion for public health, she went on to obtain a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Lagos. As a public health consultant she participated in various local and international health programmes. In May 2006 she represented DHI in Nigeria's first ever Mothers' Summit held in Abuja. Driven by a need to more specifically impact her community, she undertook a postgraduate program in infectious diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, graduating with an MSc degree. She worked as a Zonal Medical Manager PHB HealthCare in Lagos, Nigeria and is currently the MD/CEO of Novo Health Africa Ltd.
